Women in Engineering Program

Are you a female engineering student at UBC or thinking about Engineering as a future career? If so, the Women in Engineering Program (WIE) was established to support you and your peers during your academic time at UBC. Through our programs and events, you are able to connect and network with other female engineering students and faculty members to build relationships, social and study groups, professional networks, and perhaps even life-long friendships.

Engineering Undergraduate Society

"The one thing I learned at UBC is that change is possible. A lot of students feel that change isn't possible so why bother getting involved? Knowing that change is possible, regardless of how frustrating and arduous the process might be, gives me a reason to get engaged and affect change."

—Bowinn Ma, Past-president of the Engineering Undergraduate Society

Engineering Student Teams

Participating in an engineering student team at UBC can be a very rewarding experience. It can also be a great challenge. There are a wide variety of teams covering almost all disciplines already in existence and they are always in need of new members.
